Blepharoplasty
A personalised eyelid surgery that addresses the tired, drooping appearance around the eyes and brings freshness and a rested look to your gaze.
What is Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is an aesthetic surgical procedure that aims to correct excess skin, fat pockets and muscle laxity in the upper or lower eyelids. By easing the tired expression, it helps the gaze appear more rested and youthful.
Op. Dr. Emre Yılmazer evaluates the periorbital anatomy, skin elasticity and the patient's expectations together for each individual. The aim is to achieve a clean and rested look while preserving the natural proportions of the eye.

Who is it Suitable For?
Blepharoplasty is a personalised procedure. A consultation may be planned in the following situations.
- Those who notice excess skin or sagging on the upper eyelid
- Those experiencing fat pockets or dark circles on the lower eyelid
- Those who feel they appear tired, sad or angry
- Older individuals with eyelid drooping severe enough to restrict the field of vision
- Those experiencing periorbital changes that have become difficult to conceal with make-up
- Adults in suitable general health with realistic expectations
Important note: Each patient presents with a different anatomy, skin structure and set of expectations. The procedure to be performed, the technique to be applied and the results can only be clarified after an in-person medical assessment.
